Konstantin Shamray

Winner of The Sydney International Piano

Competition, will be playing the 9 foot EX Shigeru Kawai Grand Piano used in the

Sydney International Piano Competition


Konstantin is the first and only competitor to date in the 40 years of the Sydney International Piano Competition to win both First and People’s Choice Prizes, in addition to six other prizes.

We are privileged to have Konstantin consider Adelaide as his Australian home, between his demanding International Concert Tours of Japan, Russia, Canada, he is currently completing his PHD studies at the Elder Conservatorium, Adelaide University.

Konstantin will be performing Mozart Rondo in D Major, Beethoven Sonata no.21 in C major Op.53 "Waldstein", Chopin Sonata no.3 in B minor Op.58, Bartok Sonata
